When you hear the term “umbrella policy” try not to think about the umbrella that you use when it starts raining. An umbrella insurance policy is going to cover you for exuberant costs that you are liable for.  For example, let’s say that you have a great driving record and a great insurance policy but you are involved in an accident in which multiple people in the other car are severely injured.  When this occurs, you may find that you do not have the insurance required to cover the costs that you are liable for.

The typical umbrella insurance policy starts at $1,000,000. The cost is very reasonable for the coverage that you will receive. The umbrella policy is going to cover almost all of the liability scenarios you can think of. There are many other situations in which you can be held liable for very hard costs.

Protecting yourself and protecting your financial assets is a great way to be able to feel that you have the right amount of insurance coverage. When you feel that you are totally covered, you can have the peace of mind that you may not be able to have any other way. Take time to talk with us today to see if your insurance coverage needs an umbrella policy.
